Sally Rader, CPNP-PC, IBCLC
Sally Rader, CPNP-PC, IBCLC earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2010 and her Master’s in Pediatric Primary Care from Vanderbilt University in 2016. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Sally spent over five years practicing as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Monroe Carrel Junior Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Upon completion of her Nurse Practitioner program, she served as the primary care provider for the Global Services Department at Children’s National in Washington, D.C. She joined Northern Virginia Pediatric Associates (NVPA) in 2017. Sally is specifically passionate about health promotion of all ages and promoting breastfeeding success. She earned her certification from the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants in 2019 and has since been offering lactation services for the patients of NVPA.
Sally was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and now lives in Washington, DC with her husband. She enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and Alabama football.
Sally is board certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants, and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
